Double standard answer

Dr sir you have adviced for a patient query to lead a normal sexual life during pregnancy period of women but from nature what i have seen is that every livingbeing stay away sexual intercoarse during pregnancy period (ie) they take complete rest to give birth normally. Please clarify this doubt of mine

Mr.D.Senthilnathan

Answer:

Animals are no human; and a human is not an animal. Never ever compare animals with humans; and we know nothing about animals but self-defeating imagination.

Dear sir, I am confused of your double standard explanations. In one of the Health Time magazines (3-4 months before) you took animals life as example to explain that non.veg eating animals are slim & strong in nature and they dont have big stomach, whereas veg eating animals have big stomach. From this we know that non.veg food is good to avoid belly(obesity )problems.Like this you explained.  But for a query by one Mr. D. Senthilnathan, regarding sex during pregnancy, you have answered "Don't compare animal life with human life." i.e for the first one you compared human life with animal life. But for the later you told not to compare human life with animal life. What is the justification? When we compare one thing with animal life why we should not compare the other thing also with animal life? Pl. explain.

Man and Animals

Doctor's reply

Never ever compare animals with humans for one very distinct reason: Man has his past, present and future with reference to the world, its nature and the entire community he lives in, in his mind until he dies; and he has  emotions and reflexes that should be controlled and modified sensibly by the mind, the highest seat of wisdom that he is bestowed exclusively with, for his dynamic life for eternity.

Man has the mind that distinguishes between good and bad; and that between just and unjust and that between right and wrong whereas animals do not possess this quality from the highest seat of wisdom. Animal has no comparison with man in this respect. They cannot understand man; but man has every capacity to subdue animal if only we, as humans, see ourselves much high above animals and not consider on par. Sadly for humanity, man tends to equate himself with animals by addressing himself as a 'social animal', the ugliest of all terminologies. Those that love animals more than human beings have no reason at all to know anything about animals.

Going by such distinction we shall imbibe from our habitat, the nature and living things around us: the good, the right and that is just and understand for bettering our lives as days pass by, raising ourselves with wisdom. Animals are one such thing as living things around us. It is incumbent upon us to imbibe from everything what is good, right and just for us.

The first answer is irrefutable and direct evidence that we see day in and day out, but failed to derive any understanding out of it.

The second answer which you considered 'double standard' is with regard to procreation of man and animals. Man can and shall have plans when to conceive and when not to conceive; and when to have intercourse and when not to have. Man's mind power has no comparison at all with animals that do not possess any such thing as mind power.

Latest Myth & Truth
Dear Dr Rahman, I am Sundar, Male 51 years, residing at Bangaliore. Ihappen to be a diabeticfor 13 years (poor control!) with a bit of BP and cholestrol. About 2 months back i had a viral infection with joints pain all over my body. The fever went away in a few days, but the joints pain continued. I was told by my GP that this would gradually go away in a few weeks/months. Took some ayurvedic supplements (suggested by the same allopath GP) Ten days later, the joints pain subsided, but my hands and feet became numb, with pricking pain. The GP attributed this to the viral infection and advised to take mecobalamin(B12) tablets/injection, and continued with more ayurvedic supplements.(Dhanavantri & Bruhat chintamani) Meanwhile i met a neurologist for a second assessment, and went through a 'motor nerve conduction test" and was diagnosed as: 1. predominantly motor polyneuroradiculopathy (mixed type) affecting lower and upper limb nerves 2. severe bilateral median neuropathy at the level of wrist consistent with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome The neurologist said this was mostly due to the viral infection, but could be because of poor diabetes control(fast:190, PP:300) also. he added that there was no cure, and that the body would have to heal on its own. My numbness and pain has not subsided, am now trying homeopathy for a week for a cure. would request your assessment and advice, shall be able to come to Chennai for a personal consultation Thanks and have a good day! cordially, Sundar Ramanujam --By Sundar Ramanujam
