Category: Diabetes,
You have to improve your digestion to improve the quality of glucose, the end product of digestion. If the digestion is poor, the end glucose is of poor quality which will be identified by the kidneys and thrown out in the urine; for the bad glucose will not be accepted by the body; and the pancreas whose insulin is so important for utilization of glucose will be shut down. If you want to make the pancreas secrete insulin and regain its normal function, then it is important you shall improve digestion. I do not want to go to the depth of the subject because diabetes is not at all a disease. Do not believe allopathic doctors for they do not have the common sense to help the ailing patients. Here is what you do. When you have thirst take only tender coconut water of sweetish nature - never take the coconut water that does not have the taste, or that has sour or saltish taste. And when you have appetite, eat plantain of sweetish nature. Your digestion will improve now and sugar level will become normal. Diabetes is not a disease but a doctor induced malfunction of our system. Some time later we shall discuss this in the news bulletin.

Sir, for sugar Patients what are the foods to be used? Is diet important or not?

Dieting should not be forced. Actually you need lot of energy when you are ill and only the food provides it. Avoid sour tastes like pickles, unripe mangoes, grapes, vinegar etc, And avoid crispy foods viz, chips, biscuits. This advise is to be followed for all kinds of diseases.

Dear Abdullah

You have been taking the medicines for BP Diabetes and Cholesterol believing that the medicines will control the above diseases. And now you see the real nature of your disease state. The medicines have neither controlled the diseases nor have cured them all. On the contrary all pathological reports are high when you stopped the medicines for only one week. If the diseases are under control as told by the specialist doctors, when you stopped the medicines, all the readings should stay at the level at which point the medicines were started a few years ago. But all the readings are increased due to the medicines all these years. These medicines had actually allowed the disease to spread under ground silently.

It is high time you stopped the medicines and resolved you would never resort to the medicines or go to the specialist quacks again. Write to us as to what your actual sufferings are. There is nothing to worry over the reports and nothing will happen. You will be greatly improving in the coming days. Stay assured of this.

Latest Myth & Truth
Dear Dr Rahman, I am Sundar, Male 51 years, residing at Bangaliore. Ihappen to be a diabeticfor 13 years (poor control!) with a bit of BP and cholestrol. About 2 months back i had a viral infection with joints pain all over my body. The fever went away in a few days, but the joints pain continued. I was told by my GP that this would gradually go away in a few weeks/months. Took some ayurvedic supplements (suggested by the same allopath GP) Ten days later, the joints pain subsided, but my hands and feet became numb, with pricking pain. The GP attributed this to the viral infection and advised to take mecobalamin(B12) tablets/injection, and continued with more ayurvedic supplements.(Dhanavantri & Bruhat chintamani) Meanwhile i met a neurologist for a second assessment, and went through a 'motor nerve conduction test" and was diagnosed as: 1. predominantly motor polyneuroradiculopathy (mixed type) affecting lower and upper limb nerves 2. severe bilateral median neuropathy at the level of wrist consistent with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome The neurologist said this was mostly due to the viral infection, but could be because of poor diabetes control(fast:190, PP:300) also. he added that there was no cure, and that the body would have to heal on its own. My numbness and pain has not subsided, am now trying homeopathy for a week for a cure. would request your assessment and advice, shall be able to come to Chennai for a personal consultation Thanks and have a good day! cordially, Sundar Ramanujam --By Sundar Ramanujam
